Maymorn station
500 metres south of the southern portal of the 8.8km long Rimutaka tunnel, Maymorn station had an extensive construction depot associated with the tunnel. Old and new routes were connected by a temporary line with tortuous geometry.

A long crossing loop and a few sidings were provided on opening of the route, since removed.
