Great turnout on Saturday 14 July, with a good number of Trust members, neighbours and friends visiting our Maymorn site. We guided people through the rail vehicle shed, showing progress with the inspection pits (funded by Rimutaka Trust) and our ex-NZR Hillside Tr189.
During the brief fine periods people also ventured outside to view the progress we have made with the double slip and track extension towards the pedestrian crossing at the Kaitoke end of our site.
It was great to have the chance to host so many people at Maymorn, and we look forward to future repeats in the not-too-distant future!
